project highlighted in the Newpaper Le Monde. In an article entitled "En Guyane, une "forêt témoin" pour étudier biodiversité et climat" (In French Guiana, a "control forest" to study biodiversity and climate), Laurent Marot, reporter in Guyane, describes our research project on forest phenology (Irene Mendoza's post-doc project - see below) and tree diversity (see below) during the last October mission in the Week End supplement Science & Techno (page 3) of the edition dated 29 October 2011. ... Read more at El trabajo de una ecóloga: dos ejemplos recientes. P.-M. Forget co-chairs the 49th Annual meeting of the Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ATBC) to be held between 19-22 June 2010 in Bonito, MS, Brazil. There, with Nicolas Hulot, he contributed to "Un jardin pour la planète" d'Ushuaia Nature in June 2001, which was released in 2002 ; it is now available on line. Bookmark your agenda for June 2012.

visitors were able to see how we climb to the canopy to capture insectes and collect plants such as Carapa herbaria. They also discovered the diversity of tropical insects, as well as the diversity of bats and the relationships they develop with agoutis, seed dispersers, the garderners of the forest.
